A Million Lives is all about a general lack of involvement in ecology. Our planet is going down and so do we, but it doesn’t seem to bother shortsightened majority of Earth's inhabitants. On one hand individuals think they cannot change anything really, while being caged in a cycle of a global, corporate-driven consumerism on the other. Change can only start from the bottom. All as one, we can make it happen.
The song features the first ever guest spot on our album: the middle section of the song includes traditional, eastern European folk “white voice” singing technique by Alia Fay. We used her improvisation to express Earth’s lament.

This isn't necessarily a genre I seek out, but something about the opening track just hooked me, and I find myself entranced by the chorus every time, even after listening.
